3M investing $60M in Greenville expansion.

3M is investing $60 million over the next five years to increase its manufacturing capacity and enhance its infrastructure at the company's Greenville operations.

The investment and expansion were facilitated by discretionary incentives approved by the Greenville County Council to encourage 3M to continue to grow and invest in the community, according to a news release.

"County Council is extremely pleased with 3M Co.'s decision to expand its operations in Greenville County. As a large, local employer, 3M Co. provides good career opportunities for people in our area," Greenville County Council chairman Butch Kirven said in the release.
