§ 35.1.6.1 Nutrition Assistance. Federal law has comprehensive procedural provisions for hearings and review of nutrition assistance (formerly known as food stamp) decisions. 7 C.F.R. § 273.15-16. There is only one state nutrition assistance rule. A.A.C. R6-14-111 (definitions). Because the previous state nutrition assistance rules (A.A.C. R6-14-101 et seq.) duplicated the federal regulations (7 C.F.R. §§ 271 et seq.), they were allowed to expire effective February 28, 2005.
