G. Enforcement
A person claiming discrimination may elect to proceed in one of two ways:
1.. File an administrative complaint, within one year after the alleged discriminatory act, with the Division of Human Rights,135 which will determine jurisdiction, investigate the merits of the claim and, after a public hearing, make a determination; if appropriate, it will grant the relief necessary to rectify discriminatory practice and award money damages to the complainant;136 or
