B. Discrimination Under the Human Rights Law

It is unlawful for an employer⁹¹ to discriminate based on disability.⁹² Unlawful discriminatory practices include:

• Refusal to hire, interview, or promote on account of disability;
• Termination on account of disability;
• Diminishing compensation or conditions or privileges of employment on account of disability; ⁹³
• Use of any form of application for employment, or to make any inquiry in connection with prospective employment, which expresses directly or indirectly any limitation, specification or discrimination as to disability; ⁹⁴
• Compelling an employee who is pregnant to take a leave of absence, unless the employee is prevented by such pregnancy from performing the activities involved in the job or occupation in a reasonable manner;⁹⁵
