§ 28-29 Motor Vehicles - Lane Changes
Pursuant to section 56-5-1900(a) of the South Carolina Code, whenever any roadway has been divided into two or more clearly marked lanes for traffic, the following rule shall apply in addition to all other law:
(a) A vehicle shall be driven as nearly as practicable entirely within a single lane and shall not be moved from the lane until the driver has first ascertained that such movement can be made with safety.
