§ 27-4 Medical Malpractice - Doctor/Patient Relationship
The establishment of a doctor/patient relationship is a prerequisite to a claim of medical malpractice. The relation is a consensual one wherein the patient knowingly seeks the assistance of a physician and the physician knowingly accepts him as a patient.
