§ 27-25 Medical Malpractice - Duty to Continue Medical Care until Proper Termination
Once employed, a physician must attend the case as long as it requires attention, unless the relation of physician and patient is ended by mutual consent or is revoked by the dismissal of the physician. That is to say, one who engages a physician to treat him impliedly engages the physician to attend throughout that illness, or until his services are dispensed with.
