The post-trial motion should not be used to rehash every minor skirmish that occurred during the trial or to reargue every objection that was overruled. A motion cluttered with numerous questionable claims of error likely will be interpreted by the trial justice as nitpicking or, worse, as a personal attack on the way he or she handled the trial.
