1. Use of Trial Minutes

Portions of the trial transcript can frequently be used to substantiate arguments made on a written post-trial motion. For example, if defendant’s counsel will argue that the plaintiff failed to make out a prima facie case, he or she can use the transcript of plaintiff’s expert’s testimony to point out the specific deficiencies in the proof.
