The 2022 Annual Meeting of the California Tax Bar & California Tax Policy Conference returned to its roots and was hosted by the Loews Coronado Bay Resort in San Diego November 2nd through 4th. The Loews was the location the California Tax Policy Conference returned and was first partnered with the Annual Meeting almost fifteen years ago. This year we were pleased to welcome almost 350 attendees from private, government, and industry practice. Jackie Zumaeta, Chair of the Taxation Section, kicked off the Conference with welcoming remarks and thanked everyone for attending. The conference featured 34 programs and presentations by esteemed tax professionals, including representatives from numerous federal and state tax agencies and offices, tax law professors, and private practitioners.
