These outstanding educators have contributed significantly to the CalCPA Education Foundation over the last year and their hard work is not without merit. These awards are presented annually to instructors and volunteers who have recieved high ratings and numerous, positive feedback from attendees.

2015-16 Award for Instructor Excellence: Mark Vanden Berge holds more than 30 years of experience in public accounting and is CEO and president of his own firm, Vanden Berge, Inc. Vanden Berge has lectured on taxation subjects for several years receiving numerous perfect scores for knowledge and presentation.

2015-16 Award for Outstanding Webcast Instructor: Laura Lindal, CPA, has more than 25 years of experience in auditing concentrating on audits performed in accordance with Government Auditing Standards and single audits (also referred to as A-133 audits). In addition to spending 25 years performing audits, she also works with auditees preparing for audits and with auditors and their firms to design, document and perform audits in accordance with professional standards while maintaining efficiency.

2015-16 Award for Outstanding Course Materials: Lynford Graham, CPA, Ph.D., CFE, has more than 25 years of public accounting experience in audit practice and in various national firm policy development groups. He is a visiting professor of accountancy at Bentley University in Waltham, Mass., and a consultant on professional accounting and auditing matters and an author.
