In Colorado Business Contracts: A Guide for Lawyers and Business Owners, Denver attorney Edward White presents an excellent overview of the key points in the business cycle where legal considerations must be taken into account. The work succeeds as a reference for attorneys and business owners alike, because it includes citations to the relevant Colorado Revised Statutes, as well as real-world examples that illuminate the manner in which the law impacts business decisions. The beginning of each chapter reviews the important legal and business issues that must be considered when contemplating a specific course of action. White presents clear information relevant to a variety of business law issues, and his work is diligent in conveying the importance of getting lawyers involved at the beginning of each transaction because of the complex regulatory, securities, and tax issues often lurking.
