About the Author

Ronald M. Sandgrund is a trial and appellate lawyer, currently of counsel with the Denver firm Sullan, [2] Sandgrund, Perczak & Nuss, P.C. He began his career representing product manufacturers, insurance companies, and small businesses and builders, but today mainly works with homeowners and insurance policyholders. He is a frequent author and lecturer on construction defect and liability insurance issues and the development of trial practice skills in new lawyers. This series of articles explores some major issues that both new and experienced lawyers face today. Each article summarizes conversations between these groups of lawyers and explores their different perspectives on common concerns.
