Watch College Football With the Young Lawyers
The YLD invites you to the Air Force vs. Wyoming football game on October 17, 2009 at Falcon Stadium in Colorado Springs. Game time is noon. The stadium is on the Air Force Academy campus, just north of Colorado Springs. Tickets are $25 per person and include a catered pre-game meal starting at 9:30 a.m., a pass to the Air Force tailgate party, admission to a pre-game party with the Air Force mascot and cheerleading team, and admission to the game. Free "Nuts and Bolts" CLE for Young Lawyers
The YLD invites you to attend a CLE seminar on the "nuts and bolts" of practicing law in Colorado. The seminar, which is sponsored by the Weld County Bar Association, will be held on December 11, 2009 at the Clarion Hotel and Conference Center in Greeley. The seminar is free for attorneys who have been in practice for fewer than three years, and is $75 for seasoned attorneys who register prior to November 1, 2009. The seminar offers eight general CLE credits, including three ethics credits. Don't miss this inexpensive opportunity to bring yourself up to speed on practicing law in Colorado. Volunteer at the Rocky Mountain Children's Law Center
CBA YLD members are invited to help out at the Rocky Mountain Children's Law Center. Volunteers receive training and work three-hour shifts. The work involves screening potential cases and providing basic information to teens and young adults in need of legal services. This is a terrific way to earn pro bono hours.
