The Colorado Lawyer Board and editorial staff gratefully acknowledge the efforts of Larry D. Tannenbaum, Debra S. Kalish, and George N. Monsson in coordinating the 2009 issue on Government Law.

Larry D. Tannenbaum is Senior Assistant Attorney General in the Office of the Colorado Attorney General, and has served as an Assistant Attorney General for twenty-four years. For more than nine years, Tannenbaum represented the Division of Risk Management and defended the state of Colorado, its agencies, and employees in tort, civil rights, and other damages litigation. For the past fourteen years, Tannenbaum has been employed in the Transportation Unit and has represented the Colorado Department of Transportation in a substantial amount of litigation, particularly in the areas of eminent domain and inverse condemnation. Tannenbaum has been actively involved in the CBA's Government Counsel Section and its predecessor committees, and has served as chair and co-chair of the Section several times. He currently is a Section representative on the CBA Board of Governors and also serves on the CBA's Executive Council.
