The Colorado Bar Association remembers the lives and contributions of Colorado attorneys and members of the legal community.
Philip E. Gauthier

Philip E. Gauthier died on March 18, 2008. He was 81

Gauthier served in the U.S. Army Air Corps in Okinawa, Japan After working for the Adams County Free Press in Iowa, his family's business, Gauthier obtained a journalism degree from Creighton University, where he served as managing editor of the student newspaper and yearbook editor

He worked for Regis University in Denver as director of sports information and as director of public information. He later served as the University of Denver Sturm College of Law's director of alumni. After retiring in 1994, he wrote the book Lawyers from Denver: A Century of Service to the West and the Nation.

He is survived by his wife Mary Lou, six children, and fourteen grandchildren. Edith Arbuckle Williams

Edith Arbuckle Williams died on March 9, 2008. She was 86. Williams was an attorney, educator, and performing artist. She also was a dedicated volunteer.
