Six initiatives were chosen by The Ash Institute for Democratic Governance and Innovation at Harvard Kennedy School as winners of the 2008 Innovations in American Government Awards. Each winner will receive $100,000 toward replication of its program.

The award-winning programs offer solutions to pressing challenges and enhance policy research.
