* Checking Your E-mail Using Just a Phone: Want to check your e-mail in the car or from a remote location without having to use a computer, your Blackberry, or text messaging? MailCall is a service that allows subscribers to listen to e-mails, attachments, and links, as well as respond to messages through a mobile or land line phone. Subscribers to the service also can set preferences to determine which e-mails to read first; block e-mails from certain senders; have e-mails sent to a fax machine; and bookmark websites. Marketing
* Marketing is an ongoing process. It shouldn't stop when you acquire a new client. Provide each new client with an empty binder or file folder for all documents and correspondence related to your work for them. The binder or folder can be as simple or elegant as you wish. You might want to print your contact information (firm name, address, phone number, e-mail, website, etc.) on the outside of the folder, or just attach your business card. You can even include tabs inside the folder, labeled "Correspondence" or "Documents," for example. Be sure to include your firm brochure, services your firm offers, and several extra business cards.
