Louis J. Boggio died in February 2004. He was 83. Boggio was admitted to practice law in Colorado in 1951. He was a forty-year member of the Colorado and Denver Bar Associations. Contributions in Boggio's memory may be made to the Boy Scouts of America, 299 W. 19th Ave., Denver CO 80204

John J. "Jack" Donahue died in January 2004. He was 80. Donahue was born in New Haven, Connecticut. He graduated from LaFayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania, and earned his law degree from Cornell Law School in Ithaca, New York Donahue was originally admitted to practice law in 1953; he was licensed in Colorado in 1977. Donahue was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in both World War II and the Korean War Prior to relocating to Colorado, Donahue was the organizer and executive director of the Rhode Island Legal Services, the first statewide legal services program in the United States. He also was an attorney in business affairs for the Columbia Broadcasting System in New York. He married Bobbye Davis in 1963 in New York City. After relocating to Colorado, Donahue served as Executive Director of Pikes Peak Legal Services in Colorado Springs from 1976 until he retired in 1993. While in "retirement," Donahue served as guardian ad litem to clients who were appointed through probate court. During his legal career in Colorado, he was instrumental in developing a program of volunteer private attorneys offering free legal services in Colorado Springs to low-income clients. He was active in the Legal Services Corporation and the National Legal Aid and Defender Association. Donahue was an Honor Life member of the CBA and El Paso County Bar Associations. In 1990, the CBA presented Donahue with the Jacob V. Schaetzel Award, which honors an attorney's outstanding dedication to the delivery of legal services to the poor. He also was a member of the CBA Law Education Committee and American Bar Association. He was active in the Pikes Peak Chapter of the American Red Cross and United Way, Legal Aid Foundation of Colorado, and Colorado Lawyer Trust Account Foundation ("COLTAF").
