Convention 2000: Thanks to everyone who attended the 2000 Convention in Keystone! The weekend of September 8-10, 2000 was a success. See photo highlights of the convention beginning on page 39. The event provided the 400-plus attendees with a balance of CLE courses and after-hours fun. Audiotapes from the convention's CLE programs are available for purchase. See page 214 in this issue for more information. The 2001 convention will take place on September 21-23 at the Vail Cascade Club. Mark your new millennium calendars now!

CBA Mock Trials: Case materials for the 2001 Colorado Mock Trial Competition are available from the CBA offices. The teams for the 2001 competition are forming now. Registration for the competition officially began in October 2000 and will continue through December 20, 2000. Registration before December 1, 2000, is strongly encouraged. Mock trials are an excellent opportunity to bring attorneys and high school students together to help students become more familiar with how the American justice system works. Local tournaments send their teams to the state championships, which will be held March 9-10, 2001, at the Adams County Justice Center in Brighton. The state championship team...
