New Listserv: The Colorado Bar Association ("CBA")
is pleased to announce the Solo/Small Firm Section is
sponsoring a listserv for its section members. Subscribing to
any of the CBA listervs is a great way to stay in touch with
what committee and section members are doing. The listservs
also act as reminders of bar functions, events, and benefits

Public Legal Education: The CBA Public Legal Education
Department recently received new law-related educational
materials for classroom use. Justice By the People is an
interactive, five-lesson curriculum from the American Board
of Trial Advocates, that covers jury selection and trial and
jury deliberation. Street Law - A Course in Practical Law is
the most up-to-date curriculum for teaching high school
students about the law. It includes sessions on school
prayer, stalking, teen driving, immigration, and violence.
Partner-Administrator Dinner: The CBA and Mile High Chapter
of the Association of Legal Administrators will co-sponsor
the 2000 Partner-Administrator Dinner on June 13 at the Top
of the Rockies restaurant in Denver. Cocktails begin at 5:30
p.m., and dinner is at 6:30 p.m. The cost is $80 per
partner/administrator team. Speakers are Phil Shuey, John
Tredennick, and Reba Nance. All three speakers have presented
programs at the American Bar Association Techshow and will
discuss how the Internet and other technologies impact the
practice of law. One CLE credit will be available. Call the
