2.8. Conditional zoning.

Pursuant to statutory and decisional authority, rezonings may be approved subject to certain conditions, provided that the conditions are reasonably related to the impact of rezoning. If a zoning change is approved conditioned upon a development schedule and property has not been improved pursuant to the schedule, the county or municipality must hold a public hearing prior to taking administrative action to extend, remove, or determine compliance with the development schedule, or take legislative action to cause the property to revert to its former zoning.
