§ 2.5.3 Membership Meetings

There is a statutory requirement regarding association membership meetings. Specifically, a meeting of the association must be held at least once each year. ²¹⁷ The “once a year” meeting is usually referred to as the “annual meeting” or the “regular membership meeting.” A “special meeting” of the association can also be called at any time by the president, by a majority of the board members, or by unit owners having 25%, or any lower percentage set forth in the bylaws, of the votes of the association.
