§ 2.18 Children Playing Signage, Children Playing in the Streets

A.R.S. § 33-1808 (D) states that no matter what the governing documents of a planned community state and no matter what the rules and regulations contain, a planned community association cannot prohibit the use of “cautionary signs” regarding children if the signs meet the following conditions regarding use and display:

The “Children Playing” signs are displayed in residential areas only; The signs are removed within one hour of children ceasing play; The signs are displayed only when children are actually present within 50 feet of the sign; The signs are no taller than three feet; and The signs are professionally manufactured or produced.
