2.13 APPELLATE MEDIATION PILOT PROJECT
On June 13, 2018, Virginia's appellate courts announced a pilot project experimenting with mediation of appellate matters. 502 The project provides for mediation in select cases on appeal for calendar years 2019 and 2020, after which the court will evaluate the usefulness of appellate mediation.
