If you missed the 1996 CBA Convention, you can still take advantage of the many CLE credits that were available there. Audiotapes of the convention programs are now available for home study. See page 142 in this issue for a list and an order form.
Despite a worrisome snow storm on Thursday afternoon, the convention began on Friday morning with the sun shining brightly. By noon, the storm was forgotten, and convention attendees were treated to beautiful, warm fall weather. Photo highlights of the convention will be published in the December 1996 issue.
Don't forget to sign up for computer classes in the LEXIS®/CBA Technology Center. Classes are personalized, limited to seven attendees. The CLE-accredited training is sponsored by the CBA and the Plus Group, Inc. Here are just a few of the November offerings: "A Day on the 'Net," November 11; "Intro to Windows 95," November 13; "Internet---Lawyers Executive Briefing," November 18; "MS Access 7.0," November 20. Most classes are full-day, from 9 A.M. to 4 P.M. Registration for full-day classes is $165 (CBA members) and $185 (nonmembers). Half-day classes are $89 (CBA members) and $99 (nonmembers). The Probate and Trust Law Section and Continuing Legal Education in Colorado, Inc. ("CLECI") are teaming up to bring "Colorado Law of Wills, Trusts and Fiduciary Administration" and "Colorado Estate Planning Forms" on November 7. The seminar, featuring Jim Wade, Stan Kent, and Jim Buchanan, will be held at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Denver.
