CBA CONVENTION 1976
The 78th Colorado Bar Association Convention held September
30 through October 2 at the Broadmoor in Colorado Springs
afforded CBA members an opportunity to work, play, and honor
those deserving members with special awards
WORK
CBA sections and committees hosted seminars, panel
discussions and business meetings. Some of the topics of
discussion included ethics in litigation; patents and
progress in patent law; problems in modern Colorado estate
planning and probate practice; computers and Colorado law
bribes and kickbacks and improper payments; growth control
and energy development; consequences of dissolution; and law
office management
Breakfasts, luncheons and small conferences were held for
special groups and law school alumni. The General Assembly,
held Friday morning, featured a panel discussion on the
future delivery of justice. Moderated by Gerald Weaver, the
panel included Justice William Erickson, Robert McKay,
director of the justice program for the Aspen Institute for
Humanistic Studies, and William Spann, Jr., ABA
president-elect.
