James Willson, Revisor of Statutes, welcomes your comments regarding 1973 Colorado Revised Statutes. He would also appreciate being advised of any errors which you may come across so that they may be corrected promptly in the pocket supplement.

You are advised that the public sale of Session Laws for the State of Colorado will no longer be handled by the Secretary of State's office. The 1975 Session Laws will be available in October directly from the publisher, Bradford-Robinson.

Pocket cumulative supplements for 1974 and 1975 should be available by mid-November of this year. Annual pocket cumulative supplements will be published commencing in 1976.M. Keith Singer, Chairman

1974 Gummed Annotations

Editor:Courtright Publishing has requested that this office, which did the editorial work on the 1974 Gummed Annotations, check on errors reported to you and to us.

We find that there were a few typographical errors in the annotations this year---the first which have slipped by the extensive proofreading done on the annotations in all the years we have worked on them. Naturally we accept full responsibility for these and extend our apologies to the users of the annotations. A sheet amending these errors is being printed and will be mailed to all purchasers of the annotations.

There are, however, some difficulties with the statutes and annotations which cannot be eliminated at this time. In preparing the annotations, we used the 1974 Session Laws and the 1973 Revised Statutes, relying on the Comparative Table in Volume 18 to convert the C.R.S. 1963 citations to C.R.S. 1973 citations. The Comparative Table, of course, did not offer any help when it came to placement of new statutes. Since work on the gummed annotations must always be commenced as soon as the Session Laws are available, and prior to the issuance of the "Red Book," we have for many years assigned tentative placements to new statutes where they were not assigned in the Session Laws, and because the rationale behind the placement in the prior statutes was quite...
