In November, the Board of CLE approved a plan whereby CLE materials could be offered at approximate cost for use in establishing and maintaining CLE libraries outside the Denver metropolitan area. Letters describing the plan were mailed in November to the presidents of the local bar associations outside the Denver metropolitan area.

We believe that these regional libraries would be useful, and we have suggested them for locations throughout the state. Rules and regulations for the use of these materials would be up to the local areas. Local bar associations outside the Denver metropolitan area would be a logical starting point but the plan would be flexible so that the establishment and maintenance of these libraries would not be limited to the local associations.

The materials presently available for establishing the basic library consist of some twenty workbooks for past CLE programs and fourteen cassette recordings of past programs. (A list of the workbooks appeared in the December CLE column in The Colorado Lawyer and a list of the cassette programs appeared in the January column.)
