II. (§17.2) Investigation and Prosecution Under The Workers’ Compensation Law
In 1992, the legislature created the Fraud and Noncompliance Unit (the Unit) in the Division of Workers’ Compensation (the Division). Section 287.128.8, RSMo 2016. The Unit investigates allegations of violations of The Workers’ Compensation Law (the Law), Chapter 287, RSMo, as found in § 287.128. The Unit is headquartered in Jefferson City, with outer offices in Kansas City and St. Louis.
