In State v. Barnes, 942 S.W.2d 362 (Mo. banc 1997), the Court upheld the conviction of an insurance adjuster for workers’ compensation fraud.
Barnes was a claims adjuster for the Home Insurance Company, the workers’ compensation carrier for the Salvation Army. Froemel, a Salvation Army employee, injured her back on the job.
