B. (§16.9) Costs Under § 287.203, RSMo
When an employer has provided compensation—temporary or permanent benefits—and terminates those benefits, the injured worker may request a hearing under § 287.203, RSMo Supp. 2018. If it is determined that the proceedings were brought, prosecuted, or defended without reasonable grounds, the ALJ may assess the whole cost of the proceedings against the offending party.
