D. (§16.7) Appeals
Either party may appeal within 30 days of the Commission’s final award on an attorney fee. Section 287.495, RSMo 2016. In appeals concerning the Commission’s discretion over an award or disallowance of fees, the court reviews on an abuse of discretion standard. Nolan v. Degussa Admixtures, Inc., 276 S.W.3d 332, 335 (Mo. App. S.D. 2009).
