1. (§16.5) Settlements
In claims arising out of an injury date after August 27, 2005, when an injured worker receives a settlement offer by the employer, in writing and filed with the Division before hiring an attorney, the employee is entitled to 100% of the amount offered. Section 287.390.5, RSMo Supp. 2018. But the attorney representing the injured worker shall still receive reasonable fees for services rendered. Id.
