13.6 Solicitation.

Attorneys who practice in the foreclosure area are subject to the same restrictions on lawyer solicitation that apply to lawyers generally. The essential prohibitions are set forth in ER 7.3. According to that rule:
A lawyer shall not by in-person, live telephone or real-time electronic contact solicit professional employment from a prospective client . . . unless the person contacted (1) is a lawyer; or (2) has a family, close personal, or prior professional relationship with the lawyer.
