13.2.3.1.2 Regularly Employed

The same statutory provision, A.R.S. § 23-904 (A), which provides Arizona workers’ compensation jurisdiction for those hired within the state also provides jurisdiction where a worker hired outside the state is “regularly employed” within Arizona. In a 1953 case, the Arizona court gave a fairly restrictive reading to “regularly employed.” That case involved truckers whose work caused them to travel across the state and from other states to in-state terminals.
