South Carolina Department of Health and Human Servicesis opening an office in downtown Spartanburg, in the101 Pine office complex.

The 19,667 square foot office includes the third and fourth floors of the complex, which are undergoing an upfit in preparation for the DHHS office opening at the end of April, according to a news release.

"We are excited to add the S.C. Department of Health and Human Services to the diverse tenant mix at the 101 Pine building. The organization provides an abundance of services to the citizens of South Carolina and we are delighted to assist in its need for growth," said Alex Powell, commercial real estate manager forJohnson Development Associates, in the release.
