$100 million investment brings 525 jobs to Anderson.

Hong Kong-based Techtronic Industries, a design, manufacturing and marketing company, will expand its operations in Anderson County with a $100 million investment.

The expansion is set to create 525 jobs over the next several years at its 100 Innovation Way location in Anderson. The new 1 million-square-foot manufacturing plant, reconditioning facility and warehouse, expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2022, will support production and assembly operations, according to today's news release.

"This is a significant step in our continued growth and evolution as a company," Lee Sowell, president of the company's outdoor products group, said in the release.
