The transformative growth and innovation achieved by High Point University in just 10 years span beyond statistics. The arrival of President Nido Qubein in 2005 began a major culture shift. An entrepreneurial mindset was infused into all aspects of the institution, from faculty and staff, to students, alumni, philanthropic investors, trustees and the community. As a result, HPU has transformed from a small, regional institution into an innovative and dynamic university attracting a national and international student body. Every area of the university has flourished: its physical footprint broadened from 92 acres to 420; faculty more than doubled and enrollment tripled; all while investing more than $1 billion in academics, technology, infrastructure, facilities and student life. Today, that decade of extraordinary transformation serves as a foundation for an equally ambitious future as High Point University prepares students for the world as it is going to be.
