1.3 ADMISSION TO PRACTICE
1.301 In General.
Attorneys seeking admission to practice in either district must be active members of the Virginia State Bar. The procedures for admission to the Eastern District are set forth in E.D. Va. Civ. R. 83.1. For the Western District, the procedures are set forth in W.D. Va. Gen. R. 6(a) through (c). Once admitted to practice in either the Eastern or Western District, a Certificate of Good Standing from that district and payment of the required fee are sufficient to for admission to the other district.
