1.14 MECHANICS' AND MATERIALMEN'S LIENS
A lawyer who relies in good faith on oral assurances of the satisfaction of mechanics' liens and fails to report these liens to the title insurer as unsatisfied may be liable to the insurer for breach of the lawyer's contractual duties to the insurer. 191
