1.11 LEGAL DOCUMENTS GENERALLY
By participating or acquiescing in the preparation, recordation, or other use of any legal document, a lawyer warrants that he or she has good-faith factual and legal grounds for believing it to be valid, and doing so without such grounds can serve as the basis for disciplinary action. 153 A lawyer also has a duty to advise the client "concerning the enforceability and validity of loan documents" prepared for the transaction by persons other than the lawyer. 154
