B. THE COURTHOUSE
The courthouse is known as Court of Appeals Hall. It is located on Eagle Street in Albany, near the northeast corner of the State Capitol. Sittings generally take place only in Albany. However, the Court has occasionally met elsewhere. The Court has occasionally scheduled regular sessions outside of Albany so that the Judges may interact with the local Bench and Bar; the Court has recently sat, among other diverse places, in Brooklyn and Buffalo.
