§ 4-23 Mere Association

Mere association with people who control drugs or who control property on which drugs are found is not sufficient to support a finding of possession. In the absence of any proof that the defendant had dominion and control over the drugs or had the right to exercise dominion and control over the drugs, you should find the defendant not guilty.
