§ 37.3.8.1 “Whistleblower” Definitions. Under the state Whistleblower Protection Act, a “public body” is defined as the attorney general, the legislature, the governor, the county attorney, a federal, state or local law enforcement agency, the governing board of a community college district or school district, a county board of supervisors, or an agency director.
