§ 32.01 INTRODUCTION

This chapter addresses the power of the court to divide property, the statutory and nonstatutory factors it should consider, and the manner in which courts may weigh those factors. The chapter also discusses alternative forms of property awards and the limits of the trial court's authority in making property awards.
