§ 26-8 Malicious Prosecution - Indictment Prima Facie Evidence of Probable Cause

A true bill of indictment is prima facie evidence of probable cause in an action for malicious prosecution.

The phrase "prima facie evidence" means evidence good and sufficient on its face.
