§ 23.5.1 Requisites of the Bond. The appellant may file a bond with personal sureties or with an authorized corporate surety. In the former instance, the appellant must execute the bond as principal. In the latter, the surety company alone may do so; the appellant's signature is not required. New York Life Ins. Co. v. Phelps, 42 Ariz. 222, 223-24, 23 P.2d 937, 938 (1933). See A.R.S. § 7-103.
