§ 23.2 The Right of Appeal. Any party to a final judgment of a justice court may appeal to the superior court. A.R.S. § 22-261(A). The party aggrieved by a judgment in which the validity of a tax, impost, assessment, toll or state statute is involved may appeal regardless of the amount in controversy. A.R.S. § 22-261(B).
