§ 19.3 MOTIONS TO ENLARGE TIME TO PLEAD AND TO POSTPONE TRIAL

The court has discretion to allow any answer, reply, motion, or other pleading to be filed after the time allowed by the procedural rules or to "enlarge such time." ORCP 15 D. See Ornduff v. Hobbs, 273 Or App 169, 181-82, 359 P3d 331 (2015) (the appellate court rejected the defendants' argument "that the trial court abused its discretion in granting plaintiff's ORCP 15(D) motion because plaintiff did not file his motion until nearly two months after defendants objected to the statement as untimely").
